Welcome to Thermal Control Engineering Group (Nagano Hosei (PI), Yamamoto Kazuhiro, Ai Ueno Laboratory). Our laboratory studies on heat, energy, and combustion systems aiming to reduce the load on the global environment, energy-saving and highly efficient thermal control of next-generation spacecraft, and measurement for turbulent combustion fields and elucidation of gas-liquid behavior in porous bodies. Our research interests are multi-scale thermal energy management that spans the earth and space, such as visualization and research and development of thermophysical property measurement technology for advanced materials. Our laboratory is composed of a thermal control group (Prof. Hosei Nagano, Lecturer Ai Ueno) and a combustion group (Associate Prof. Kazuhiro Yamamoto), and is engaged in a wide range of activities from the construction of basic theory related to thermal engineering to applied research. |
